The Manchester College is seeking a dedicated Safeguarding Team Leader to champion the wellbeing and protection of our students. Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do, ensuring every learner feels secure and supported throughout their educational journey. In this pivotal role, you will lead and empower our safeguarding team, offering expert guidance, case oversight, and professional development. You'll work collaboratively across the college to uphold best practices and ensure compliance with safeguarding policies. Join us in making a lasting difference in the lives of our learners. We have an exciting opportunity at our Wythenshawe campus to join us as a Safeguarding Team Leader on a permanent, full-time (35 hours per week) basis. The Manchester College is the Largest Further Education College in the United Kingdom and has the largest provisions for 16-19yrs olds, adults, and higher education in Greater Manchester. We are part of the LTE group that consist of MOL, Total People, UCEN Manchester, Novus, and LTE Group Operations. We currently support more than 25% of Greater Manchester's learning provision and are currently rated "Good" by Ofsted. Skills, Qualifications and Experience To be successful in this role, you will need: Qualified to at least Level 4 in a relevant subject - e.g. Teaching, Social Care, Youth Work, Careers Guidance Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics or equivalentSafeguarding The LTE Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
