Staff Accountant

Hire Resolves client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join their growing team Port Elizebeth. Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain financial records in accordance with GAAP Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Assist with the preparation of financial reports and tax filings Perform variance analysis and support budgeting activities Collaborate with external auditors during audit processes Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of financial data Requirements: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 13 years of accounting experience (internships included) Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and analytical abilities CPA or CPA track is a plus Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
