Job Responsibilities : - Will be responsible for the design, configuration, and setup of database components. - Work as a member of cross-platform Database Services teams and provide transformative solutions to our clients. - Responsible for defining policies, procedures, models, and technologies that will be used to collect, organize, store, and retrieve information. - Must have a strong understanding of database schema object management, data modeling, and architecture. - Formulates the organizational data strategy, including standards of data quality. - Architect and implement HA/DR/AG/Backup/Maintenance strategies in the company. - Will facilitate, implement, monitor, and test database backups and recovery methodologies and processes. - Will monitor and optimize the performance of the production server databases. - Responsible for database security, integrity, reliability, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions - Identify and troubleshoot database issues and the ability to analyze, design, build, test, and implement solutions. - Provide transformative solutions to our client's data obstacles. - Implement and troubleshoot triggers, views, stored procedures, and data integrity constraints. - Monitor file system space, and database allocation; verify efficient use of disk storage; optimize space allocation. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : - Strong experience with Microsoft Azure SQL offerings. - Remain up to date with current and upcoming trends. - Experience with virtual environments and clustered environments. - Needs to be detail-oriented and demonstrate a willingness to continue to expand knowledge. - Able to prioritize and complete assigned tasks within required deadlines. - Ability to work in a dynamic-paced environment. - Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities include troubleshooting technical issues and resolving project issues and challenges. - Understanding user requirements and able to recommend and execute creative solutions for process improvement. - Prevent out-of-space situations; and proactively plan for increased capacity and scalability. - Operational Data Store, Enterprise Database Architect, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Datawarehouse, Data Lake, Data Lakehouse. - Enterprise-level data integration and data transformations (SSIS/ ETL/ELT), - SQL Server replications, replication Strategies, Database partitioning, Sharding, and log shipping. - Expert-level knowledge of various database technologies like Azure SQL Server, Cosmos DB, and Databricks. Qualifications : - 4 years of Database Architect experience required. - Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization tools - Experience with backup restores and recovery models. - Advanced troubleshooting skills to drive to the root cause.
