Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Manager (account) to join Johnson Control Security Division. You will be part of a close-knit team working with our industry-leading portfolio of security products. The ideal candidate is open-minded, capable of targeting key customers with innovative solutions, and opening doors with proposals suitable for vertical markets. You will serve as the JCI point of contact for existing customers and future clients. How you will do it : Prospect new customers in the Italian market to contribute to regional growth. Organize your prospecting activities and manage your schedule independently, reporting in Salesforce. Promote our products through presentations and demonstrations, highlighting the advantages of our intrusion solutions. Participate in events such as exhibitions and organize training sessions on-site or remotely. Keep customers informed about the latest solutions and new products. Understand customers' businesses and requirements clearly. Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to develop sales strategies and tools. Demonstrate initiative, team spirit, and a proactive attitude towards growth and exploring new business channels. Maintain excellent relationships with other departments, supporting business development and retention. What we look for : At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar commercial role, with a proven sales track record in technical products within the security market. In-depth knowledge of the electronic security market and experience selling in a B2B environment. Good command of Microsoft Office and familiarity with tools like Microsoft Teams for webinars and remote customer management. Proficiency in English (written and spoken). Home-based, preferably residing in Northern Italy. Experience in social media sales activities and smart home market knowledge. Experience in international workplaces and in selling technology, consumer electronics, or services. Graduate degree preferred. Workplace : The role is based in Northern Italy, requiring up to 75% travel. It is a home-office position focused on the northern Italian market.
