Job Description

Summary of the Role: To defend and grow the Driveline business comprising of On-highway and Off-highway driveline lubricant additives in India, Middle East & Africa (IMEA) region in line with the regional growth strategy. Responsibilities / Accountabilities: Product Manager is accountable for the regional portfolio management of products within the Driveline lubricants for the IMEA region and ensures that products within the portfolio are effectively positioned (good, better, best) to deliver customer value and maximize profitability. Job Responsibilities include: Develop and execute business strategies to sustainably deliver strong results for the business in the region. Manage product portfolio, life cycle of products, price, and margin management of the defined product segment to maximize growth and financial performance. Ensures alignment with Sales and OEM on strategy and tactics to successfully implement the business plan in pursuit of growth targets. Liaise with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure supplies of products are in line with demand. Partner with Marketing to identify growth opportunities, and market trends and to plan and deliver appropriate market messaging and product positioning to the customers. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry/chemical engineering/mechanical engineering, or related field Masters/Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management would be added advantage. Must have minimum 10 years of experience in the lubricant, chemical or related industry. Experience in customer facing role. Ability to travel up to 30% of the time and to participate in global discussions (evening meetings). Excellent Communication & Presentation skills.
