Android Developer - Java/SDK

Job Description : We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our mobile engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building user-centric, high-performance Android applications. You should be proficient in Java and Android SDK, and have experience working with modern development tools and third-party integrations. Key Responsibilities : - Convert UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, maintainable code. - Design and develop robust, scalable, and reusable Android components. - Optimize app performance and ensure responsiveness across devices and screen sizes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. - Identify and fix bugs, and continuously improve app stability and performance. - Ensure code quality through unit testing and documentation. Required Skills : - Strong hands-on experience with Android SDK and Java. - Familiar with handling multiple screen sizes and device types. - Proficient in integrating RESTful APIs with Android apps. - Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and best practices. - Experience integrating social media SDKs (Google, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn). - Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs and push notification services. - Solid understanding of Google's Android design principles and UI guidelines. - Proficient with Git and version control workflows. - Experience working with Continuous Integration (CI) tools. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with Kotlin or hybrid app frameworks is a plus. - Familiarity with performance benchmarking and profiling tools. - Understanding of agile development methodologies (ref:hirist.tech)
