Frontend Developer - Detillens

We are looking for a mid level, front-end developer who is looking to step up in their role, driving global UI initiatives with one of our top tier Investment Banking clients. The right candidate will have strong experience in front-end technologies such as react, javascript, angualar, Vue etc. With new platforms being built across product and markets we are looking for a developer who can drive best in class UI. Where platforms are already live, there is a consolidation of UIs and a push from the business to build dashboards that help them to make key decisions. Consolidation of UIs involves building a framework to stitch UIs together. The design and layout should be such that users are heavily involved from the outset. An individual that can build PoCs quickly to help evaluate options is highly desirable. We are looking for someone who can identify wins, improvements, efficiencies and help the team to drive opportunities to improve forwards. This is not a role for a developer who wants to develop in isolation. The successful applicant will be able to build relationships with key business stakeholders and end users. Strong stakeholder management, relationship building and communication skills are essential for this role. Alongside this, knowing how to build a UI framework and then with scale is highly important, doing so in conjunction with the business stakeholders to ensure adoption of the technology. The role presents the opportunity to become a leader in driving UI change and adoption for a critical part of the firms business and a long-term leadership role within the firm.
