We are seeking an experienced Import & Export Manager to oversee international shipping operations, domestic distribution, and logistics management. The ideal candidate will manage relationships with our McAllen, Texas distribution center, international shipping partners, and domestic customers while ensuring operational excellence. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Manage end-to-end product shipments, coordinating with our McAllen distribution center, shipping lines, and domestic customers to ensure on-time delivery Lead transportation logistics team to maximize unit availability and meet shipping targets Optimize warehouse utilization through effective communication and resource management Process and track Ministry of Economy documentation Coordinate international import/export operations and domestic shipments Handle container bookings for Japanese exports Oversee transport equipment maintenance and fleet management Manage driver expenses and departmental operating costs Maintain dead file control systems Coordinate internal shipments to Puebla plant Oversee national sales product delivery logistics Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field Minimum 5 years of logistics experience Comprehensive knowledge of warehousing and shipping operations Intermediate to advanced English proficiency Advanced Microsoft Office Suite proficiency Strong customer service orientation Proactive mindset Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to perform effectively under pressure Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration Experience with Lean Management tools Advanced problem-solving methodology expertise Del Monte Foods Leadership Behaviors : As leaders we: GROUND OUR TEAMS Connect our teams to a clear strategy Provide the support our teams need for success Hold ourselves and our teams accountable CREATE THE CLIMATE Solve problems together with our teams Enable smart risk taking Empower our teams to make decisions and take action NURTURE THE GOOD Are intentional about building trust Lead with empathy Grow and develop our teams
