Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Location: Grassington & Keighley, West Yorkshire Salary: £47,132 per annum Pension Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Hours: 4 days per week (06:0018:00, including Saturday rotation) The Role SWIFT Temps Ltd Engineering Division is recruiting a skilled Maintenance Engineer for a permanent position across two key manufacturing sites in Grassington and Keighley. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team within the food and beverage production industry. Key Responsibilities Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on machinery such as conveyors, shrink wrappers, chillers, and bottling lines Rapid response to breakdowns to reduce production downtime Electrical fault finding and repair (motors, drives, wiring, relays, sensors, etc.) PLC fault diagnosis and support for commissioning Assist in installation and improvement projects Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Collaborate closely with the Engineering Manager and wider team Support general repairs and new equipment installation across both sites What Were Looking For Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance Knowledge of PLCs, pneumatics, and control systems Welding experience (MIG & TIG) beneficial Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or food production environment Relevant engineering qualifications or apprenticeship Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude Must be flexible to travel between Grassington and Keighley sites Working Hours & Benefits Hours: 4 x 12-hour shifts per week (06:0018:00) including Saturdays on a rotating basis Holidays: 24 days (based on 4-day working week) Salary: £47,132 per annum Additional: Company pension scheme, ongoing training and development Click To Apply Now- to send your CV to McMillan Serrant office 01274 505825 mobile 07926 699739 This role is advertised by SWIFT Temps Ltd Engineering Recruitment Division, operating as an employment business.
