GMR Group - Assistant General Manager - IT Operations

Job Title : AGM- Technology (PE- Grade) Job Purpose : To manage & support Mumbai IT Operations conforming to Corporate IT Policies & Procedures, Vendor Management, corporate IT security, Compliance & governance defined to satisfy the business needs. To ensure timely delivery of software & IT hardware as per budget and RFP requirements by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. To assist the field IT team with the objective of 100% SLA achievement and prepare regular reports for upper management. Key Accountabilities : - Ensure company IT policies and procedures are followed by all stakeholders - Ensure contractual SLAs are met monthly - Validate that new software releases, configurations, or bug fixes undergo proper testing and governance - Coordinate with partners for Root Cause Analysis and implement corrective actions - Ensure Field Installation and Integration Test (FIIT) & Site Acceptance Test (SAT) are conducted timely - Support senior management in reporting and daily IT operations - Ensure L1/L2 validation training for operations/technology/IT team - Identify solutions and improvement opportunities, evaluate requirements, and present technical proposals Key Performance Indicators : - Monthly SLA achievement as per RFP - Monthly SAT completion targets - Timely resolution of IT issues External Interactions : - Software partners, utility and meter manufacturers Internal Interactions : - Senior management, Project Operations Team, Technology/IT Team at Site Financial Dimensions : - Ensure SLA compliance to avoid penalties in invoices Other Dimensions : - Frequent travel is required Educational Qualifications : - B.Tech / Post Graduate Relevant Experience : - 8 to 15 years in power distribution domain - Experience in Software Integration and validation (HES/MDM) and quality audits Competencies : - Networking - Personal Effectiveness - Teamwork & Interpersonal Influence - Stakeholder Focus - Entrepreneurship - Capability Building - Social Awareness - Planning & Decision Making - Execution & Results - Strategic Orientation -Problem Solving & Analytical Thinking (ref:hirist.tech)
