Job Description Represent the Council in all litigation matters and provide legal advice and support to all Committees and to Service Units of the Council in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the key objectives in relation to those identified within the Governance Services Plan and the Community Plan. Requirements The duties of this post requires the successful applicant to complete a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland application. A formal offer of employment with East Ayrshire Council will only be made once satisfactory clearance has been received. The Individual This is a permanent full time post based within Council Headquarters, London Road, Kilmarnock. The hours of work are 35 hours per week to be worked Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 5.00pm and Friday 9.00am - 4.00pm. The workstyle for this post is Flexible - 50% -79% of your time in an office location/ multiple work locations. You will work at your administrative base or another agreed office location between 2.5 to 4 days per week and only occasionally from home. The full time salary of the post is between £40,495 - £52,325 per annum which is between Grade 10 - Grade 12.
