The incumbent performs sanitation audits of food establishments across multiple countries, assesses findings, and makes determinations on food safety and defense programs. Responsibilities include preparing inspection reports, evaluating technical information, acting as liaison between military and civilian public health, investigating recalls and outbreaks, and training new auditors. NOTE: Duties require standing, walking, driving, and desk work. TDY travel may be required. Work hours are 40/week, Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00, with a 1-hour lunch. Minimum Qualification Requirements: Applicants must meet the standards outlined in the Qualification Standards Handbook: At least 1 year of specialized experience at UA-05 grade level, or Diploma di Laurea triennale plus 60 CFU towards a Magistrale/Specialistica or Master, related to the occupation.
