The successful candidate will work in partnership with the Leadership Team to direct and manage the provision of special educational needs learning support; to promote high quality teaching, effective use of resources, and high standards of learning. This role would suit an aspiring SENDCo, as a comprehensive package of support is offered by the Trust for the first year in role. You will have a passion for working with pupils and assisting them on their journey. You will be resilient and have excellent de-escalation skills. The ideal candidate will be able to nurture supportive relationships and be able to demonstrate a practical, hands-on approach to supporting teaching. You will be required to carry out the duties of a SENDCo, advise on strategies, curriculum adaptations and communication interventions as well as assess, observe and provide recommendations.
