As a Director, Enterprise Architect, you will work with some of the world's most innovative Mainframe companies, helping them achieve business goals through strategic technology implementation. Your responsibilities include connecting customers’ business needs with their IT strategy, using architectural models to create clear, agile, sustainable, and flexible solutions. Specifically: Supporting and disseminating offerings on the platform Providing high-quality, complex offerings to clients based on business needs Planning and achieving business development goals Supporting customers on TCO and illustrating benefits of our offerings Establishing relationships with C-level executives and maintaining good relationships with local and global teams Who You Are Required Technical and Professional Expertise Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field Minimum 5 years as a Mainframe Enterprise Architect Knowledge of IBM Z Hardware and lifecycle (IBM Z1x) Experience with Hybrid Cloud platforms, containers, microservices, and DevOps on Mainframe Understanding of hardware capacity planning based on configurations or requirements Knowledge of Mainframe subsystems (zOS, DB2, CICS, IMS, MQ, RACF, etc.) and their interactions Knowledge of new Mainframe technologies (ZOWE, Operations Analytics, zOS Container extensions) High-level understanding of zVM and zLinux, with experience interpreting SCRT reports and workload pricing Understanding of Mainframe software licensing (IPL, MLC) Deep knowledge of system architectures, networks, and design principles Experience with Public, Private, and Hybrid Cloud architectures Architectural thinking and solution design skills Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences Diversity and inclusion are core to our culture.
