About this role: The Procurement Department are responsible for all purchasing, hire and supply contracts across the BSR Group of companies. From central office requirements to multiple high value materials required for construction and maintenance in the UK. The Procurement Compliance Coordinator will be primarily responsible for improving and developing sustainable procurement processes that align with the Procurement Team and wider business. With further administrative responsibilities such as maintaining data and producing reports. What we need from you: Develop and improve sustainable procurement processes incorporating analysis and supply chain mapping Onboarding of suppliers to EcoVadis, and implement action plans for future assessments in line with company expectation Review EcoVadis Annual Maturity Review and assist in setting objectives for the procurement team and wider business, implementing action plans to improve or maintain our current ratings Attend meetings and webinars as required (Solar Energy UK Steering Group, Solar Stewardship Initiative, Supply Chain Sustainability School) in person or remotely Implement training for new starters and across the wider business to ensure a broad understanding of the issues relating to sustainable procurement Engage with third party Responsible Business Alliance accredited auditors, to instruct audits and coordinate action plans, in line with company expectations Develop and maintain materials for use at external events to support the wider business. Assist in compiling reports & presentations Remain updated on current and future regulations (CSRD, CSDDD, CBAM), issues, news, relating to the industry, providing timely feedback when relevant to ensure compliance Work with our suppliers to continually improve their ESG standards to meet the expectations of the business Other ad hoc duties as required. What skills you will have: Experience in a similar role is desirable; however, training will be provided for the right candidate. A genuine interest in the renewable energy sector Understanding of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices is desirable. Strong multitasking abilities, with a history of managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments. Exceptional organisational and administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail. Highly effective at prioritising and planning tasks throughout the working day, ensuring optimal productivity and outcomes. Ability to work independently, showing initiative and taking ownership, as well as contributing collaboratively within a team.
