PROFESSOR – MACHINE LEARNING (AY 25-26)

As part of our BSc Management and Data Science program, we are seeking a Professor in Machine Learning to teach and guide students in foundational and advanced database concepts. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the Machine Learning course, covering both theoretical principles and practical applications. Key duties include: Delivering engaging lectures and interactive workshops on: Linear Regression: OLS, regularization, and linear classifiers. Probabilistic Methods: Bayesian approaches. Classification Techniques: Logistic regression, multi-class logistic regression, ranking support vector machines. Clustering: k-means and soft k-means. Ensemble Methods: Random forest and AdaBoost. Neural Networks: Including convolutional neural networks (CNNs). Feature Selection and Dimensionality Reduction: PCA, latent factor models. Autoencoders and deep learning architectures. Model Evaluation and Selection: Performance metrics, validation techniques. Guiding students through practical machine learning projects, ensuring industry relevance. Integrating real-world case studies into the curriculum. Assessing students including assignments and final projects. Qualifications & Experience B2 or C1 English Level. A Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field. Strong expertise in machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and probabilistic models. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB, and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn. Experience in teaching at the university level (preferred). Industry experience in data science, AI, or applied machine learning is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mentoring skills. J-18808-Ljbffr
