We're Hiring: Skilled Welders - Ripley, DE5 3ND My client based in Ripley, Derbyshire are looking for fully skilled, time-served Welders to join our fabrication team, supporting the UK Defence industry. If you're an experienced welder with a strong attention to detail and a passion for high-integrity fabrication, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Welding complex, high-integrity fabrications in carbon steel, aluminium, stainless steel, duplex, and exotic alloys Working to BS EN ISO 3834 quality standards Performing NDT-tested welds, including visual and radiographic inspections Following detailed engineering drawings and weld symbols Maintaining a clean and organized workspace Accurately logging working hours and completing all documentation Identifying and suggesting process improvements Qualifications & Experience: Apprenticeship trained, NVQ Level 3 or higher Minimum 3 years of welding experience Proficient in MIG, MMA & TIG welding Experience working with a variety of materials Strong team player with excellent communication skills Working Hours & Pay: Day Shift Only: Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30 Friday: 07:30 - 12:30 39 hours per week minimum Pay: From £16.80 per hour Overtime available (50%), including weekends Benefits: 33 days holiday (including statutory) Company pension Life insurance Sick pay Free on-site parking Referral programme This is a full-time, permanent role offering stability, career growth, and the chance to work on exciting defence projects.
