About the role: Note: This role will not be onboarded until July 29th, 2025 The Catering Sales Manager will secure and service catering business from social and corporate markets, actively promote and solicit new business, and uphold Four Seasons standards. The role aims to maximize revenue and profit through effective sales strategies and relationship management. What you will do: Be part of the pre-opening team! Solicit new business, respond to inquiries, and aim to meet sales targets. Follow up diligently on inquiries and calls. Conduct property tours and entertain event planners for meetings, social events, and weddings. Collaborate with hotel staff and clients through meetings and planning visits. Coordinate sales efforts to optimize function space utilization and revenue. Finalize bookings, upsell when possible, and ensure accurate billing and reporting. Keep management informed of issues requiring attention. Supervise banquet event execution, ensuring client satisfaction. Respond to emergencies per the crisis management plan. Assist with large group movements and events. Mentor and develop administrative staff. Support guest inquiries within the department, including handling high call volumes and site inspections. Perform additional tasks as assigned. Contribute to marketing plans and budgets to support business goals. Stay informed on competitors and participate in industry associations. Develop and execute projects to increase catering activity and profitability. What you bring: College education preferred. 3-5 years of catering sales and/or banquet management experience. Strong sales and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and creativity. Ability to multitask and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends and evenings. Proficiency in Delphi Sales and Catering software, MS Word, Excel, email, and internet. English language skills (reading, writing, speaking). Availability for occasional travel for training, events, or conferences.
