Technical Architect - Java/Full Stack

Key Responsibilities : Team Leadership : Lead and mentor the development team, including both in-house and vendor resources, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Solution Architecture: Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure Java/J2EE-based enterprise solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards. Hands-on Development: Implement, develop, code, and deploy business requirements using Java/J2EE technologies. Proof of Concept (POC): Conduct POCs to validate proposed solutions and technologies. Testing: Create and execute unit test cases. Perform performance, load, and security testing for critical solutions. System/UAT Ownership: Own and coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases. Collaboration: Work closely with Technical Analysts, the development team, Business Analysts (BAs), and vendors to provide technical support and guidance. Skills & Attributes : - Good hands-on experience in the development of Java/J2EE-based enterprise solutions. - Excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns. - Expertise in Full Stack Java development using Java frameworks and libraries such as Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Maven/Gradle. - Proficiency in working with both relational (RDBMS) and NoSQL databases. - Experience with at least one modern frontend technology: ReactJS or Angular 2. - Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. - Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a professional environment. - Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies. - Hands-on experience with airline software solutions is a plus. Work Experience : - Minimum 6 years of Java/J2EE development experience, preferably in the IT/Airline industry. - BTech/BE/MCA or equivalent degree.
