Job Description IB Spanish Teacher (Temporary Cover) Location: Central London Start Date: 27th August 2025 Contract Type: Full-time, Fixed Term (Until October Half Term) Salary: Inner London Main Pay Scale £38,766 – £60,092 Zest Education London is working in partnership with a leading international school in Central London to recruit a Spanish Teacher for a full-time, short-term position starting in August 2025. The Role The successful candidate will: * Deliver high-quality IB Spanish lessons across Grades 6 to 12 * Plan and teach engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with the IB MYP and DP frameworks * Assess student learning using IB assessment criteria and provide effective feedback * Collaborate with colleagues in the Language Acquisition department and across the wider school * Support students from a range of linguistic and cultural backgrounds What We’re Looking For * A qualified teacher with experience teaching Spanish (ideally within the IB framework) * A passion for language acquisition and global education * Experience teaching across a range of secondary age groups (Grades 6–12 or UK equivalent) * Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills * A flexible, reflective, and student-centred approach to teaching Why Join This School? * A forward-thinking international curriculum (IB MYP and DP) * Inner London pay scale * Central London location with excellent transport links * A creative and collaborative teaching environment * Small class sizes and a supportive leadership team This is a full-time, temporary position running from 27th August 2025 until October half term. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
