Press Tab to Move to Skip to Content Link The role Director, Transaction Banking (TB) Cash, Client Readiness supports and executes the following under the direction of Director Client Service Strategy and Initiatives . RESPONSIBILITIES The Transaction Banking (TB) Cash Client Service Management function reports to TB Cash COO . The Client Readiness function is an evolving space focusing on enhancing our ability to manage clients through ongoing regulatory, market, and transformational change. Business Design and implement a global Client Readiness framework . Represent Cash Client Services on all planned and unplanned client impacting change events. Drive improved transparency on client impacting change across the organization. Establish best practices to manage clients through planned change. Act as an escalation point for operational or client issues. Lead initiatives to drive process improvement/digitalization. Processes Ongoing reporting of client readiness. Represent Cash Client Services on unplanned client impacts. Drive process improvement to uplift client experience. People & Talent Lead and support a change mindset, building a culture of client centricity. Build a collaborative relationship with Cash Client Services and other key business stakeholders. Highly motivated to drive process improvement and change. Demonstrate appropriate culture and values, embedding a high level of team engagement. Support ongoing training and development for professional and personal growth across the team. Identify, assess, monitor, control, and mitigate risk in business operations. Ensure compliance with all applicable rules/regulations of group policy. Governance Ensure awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role. Deliver effective governance in compliance with applicable internal policies and external laws and regulations, overseeing changes in business controls as required. Support relevant programme governance forums and processes as required. Regulatory & Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and the Group Code of Conduct. Support the TB Cash Client Service Team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles: Fair Outcomes for Clients and The Right Environment. Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance matters. Our Ideal Candidate 10 years of experience in Cash Client Services or Transaction Banking Services. Detailed knowledge of Cash/Transaction Banking products and foundational technical knowledge. The role requires understanding change events, the resulting client impact, and working with service teams to manage clients through change. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills to design and report on client impacting metrics.
