Embedded Software Designer

Job Title : Software Designer Location : Bangalore Job Type : Full Time Minimum Qualification : Graduate Experience : 3 - 9 Years Job Description : - Experience in Software development life cycle : Requirements, Design, Development, integration and qualification tested to the requirements of DO-178B/C. - A working appreciation of associated engineering disciplines on real time embedded systems; preferably Gas Turbine Controls System. - Experience in C/Ada Programming. - Exposure to Model Based development. - Good working knowledge of Avionics Communication Protocol like Arinc429, AFDX, CAN protocol. - Expertise with Software Configuration Management and Change Control process. - Good hands-on experience in Software Configuration Management tools. - Should have strong troubleshoot skills to debug problems. - Experience with developing applications in compliance with safety critical standards such as DO178/C would be ideal. - Understanding the issues and constraints of real time, safety critical, embedded products. Roles And Responsibility : - Perform the development of SW modules. - Perform the analysis of requirements prior to the implementation. - Perform the detailed design and coding of the software module. - Ensure the SW Implementation adheres to the proposed SW Architecture. - Configure the detailed design and code under Configuration Management as per the Configuration Management Plan. - Participate in detailed design and code reviews as per the defined SW Architecture. - Provide solution to verification queries raised by the verification team on the delivered SW product. - Seeking proactive feedback for continuous improvement. - Communication of work status to team lead and wider audiences including senior management if required. - Ensuring the adoption of company technical and Project management processes. Skills & Requirements : - Must be a good team player and be efficient enough to solve the issues in the assigned task. - Must have strong communication and presentation skills. - To maintain and establish a good working relationship with the team and the customer. - Sound written communication skills and ability to generate reports.
