Coforge - Senior Infrastructure Professional

Coforge is looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Professional who has been a hand-on architect with deep knowledge and understanding of various OEM product lines (Servers, Network, Security, Storage) and their technical and commercial differences. He should have worked in large deals in India and aboard in Govt, Public Sector and BFS space. He should passionate and self-motivated to derive the architectures including the deployment considering all the possibilities, optimization and compliances / SLA asked in the RFP and stated by the customer. Ability to handle Large, multiyear deals from Qualification to submission. Should be a who can be lead the discussion in front of customer and also work with internal and external stakeholders to optimally design a complaint and winnable solutions. Key Responsibilities : - Experience of conceptualizing and defining infrastructure solution designs of IT Projects covering all components related to Network (Routing and Switching), Platform and Storage, security. - Should have knowledge of DC and DR design aspects including Cables and Racks, Management Platforms, PDU, Observability tools. - Should have worked and holds experience of designing and evaluating solution on products of some of the OEM solutions like Cisco, Dell, HP, IBM, Commvault, F5, Fortinet etc. in the areas Routing and Switching, Storage, Backup, Security etc. - Should have ability and experience of designing solutions on HCI. Knowledge of HCI Solutions like Nutanix, Dell VxRail will be a plus. - Should have experience and ability to come up with a comprehensive and optimized capacity plan (Sizing) taking all solution components into consideration across all environments. - Should carry capability to improvise the sizing by updating any needed High Availability, Clustering, Virtualization aspects in overall capacity plan. Should carry ability of drive and come up with solution design to adhering to the customer asked SLA, RTO/RPO and other defined NFRs like scalability, Zero Data Loss etc. - Should know the various virtualization solutions including OpenText(vmware), KVM, RedHat OpenStack. - Should carry detailed knowledge of deployment of Containerized Work loads on any of Docker / Container solution. Knowledge of any one of Orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, Red hat OpenShift, VMware Tanzu will be treated as plus. - Should carry relevant experience of handling and responding to large scale solutions including Govt. RFP / RFI and enterprise grade deployment. - Should carry experience and ability of driving customer conversations and solution defences independently. He/She should drive technical solution finalization capabilities like drafting BCP Plan, SLA Management Approach, DC Transition, DC/DR Migration Approaches and also defining the overall architecture and Deployment diagrams using any of the tools like MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, SmartDraw and other AI tools. - Should carry ability and experience of come up with the manpower plan and roles needed to install and manage infrastructure components in DC / DR and define the managed services footprint. - Overall experience of 16 years in IT and at least 7 years as Solution Architect in a Large / Mid-Sized System Integrator or an OEM. - Should have experience of converting the Infrastructure Sizing (App, Other Components) to respective Server, VM deployment architecture and Sizing. - Should carry passion, ability and experience to lead the Solution discussions and Solution Defence presentations. - Should carry experience and ability to multitask with no hesitation and limitation to travel. Skills : - Solutioning experience of any SOC, NOC, DC and DR of any State DC / DR or private Cloud. - Hands on experience any of the Network Devices installation & configuration, Security Devices (Firewall, IPS/IDS, WAF, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, TIP ) installation and configuration. - Knowledge of Software Licensing products from known OEMs (System Softwares, RDBMS etc.) Knowledge of Any of the Certification : - CCNP (R&S) / CCNP (Security) / CCIE (R&S) / Associate VMware Data Center Virtualization / Associate VMware Cloud Management and Automation - AWS Networking / AWS Security, Google Professional Cloud Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert - Data Center Design Consultant (DCDC) or equivalent (ref:hirist.tech)
