Teacher of Food Technology

Academic Appointments Ltd is currently working with a North Yorkshire partner Academy to recruit a dedicated Food technology Teacher. This is a part-time (0.8FTE) Food technology placement and will be after May Half Term until the end of the academic year, in the first instance, with a potential of an extension into the new academic year. The successful candidate will be teaching Food technology up to KS4 and will have responsibility for their own exam classes. This is a ‘Good’ rated school Students feel very safe in school because of good supervision and the confident, trusting ethos. They understand the school’s clear expectations well and take pains, for example, to be punctual. The behaviour observed around the school was frequently outstanding. The very great majority behaves considerately and the need for exclusion has reduced. Requirements: * QTS or relevant teaching qualification * Well qualified with an honours degree in relevant subject * 2 x references from educational establishments * Evidence of an exemplary track record * A passion for success and quality teaching * An Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience and payroll method.
