Title: X-ray Technician of Openings: 5 total 2 people for days, 3 people for nights Location: Start date: May 19th, 2025 Duration: 6 month Contract to Hire OR open to Pay Rate: New Grad or >5 years $26-37 per hour More than 5 years- 37-42 Interview Process: 1 and done (prefers onsite but can flex for virtual) 9AM - 1PM Hours: Contract- 4x12 flex on days or 48 hours a week- gets scheduled for full month 645am-7pm for day 645pm-7am for night Perm- Matrix schedule Mon, Tue- ON Wed, Thu-OFF Fri, Sat, Sun ON Alternates next week Day- 6:45 AM- 7PM Night- 6:45PM- 7AM Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support (BLS) Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT) Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) Thrives in a fast-paced environment Team oriented and passionate about their work Plusses: · 2 Years of Experience as an Xray Tech · Experience with EPIC Day to day: This position involves performing radiography (x-ray) examinations to aid physicians in diagnosing and treating patients, including some exams in more complex modalities. Responsibilities include preparing patients, recording vital signs, explaining procedures, administering IV and contrast when necessary, positioning patients, selecting imaging techniques, and ensuring the technical quality of images. The role also involves entering and monitoring patient data, performing quality assurance on radiology equipment, assisting with accreditation applications, reporting accidents or equipment malfunctions, taking emergency calls, working weekends, floating to other locations, and performing patient registration tasks. Ensuring safe care to patients, staff, and visitors while adhering to the organizations policies and demonstrating a commitment to compassionate and personalized experiences is essential. Will be seeing 40-60 patients a day, Acute care is a very high patient volume Phillips and Siemens Portables- Samsung, Siemens, Canon and Heir Strings
