Physician Assistant - Gastroenterology

Expanding gastroenterology team in the Rockville, Maryland area is seeking a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join their team! Work alongside a large team of physicians and APPs and receive excellent training and mentorship. Enjoy a stable Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends and no on-call duties, and build rapport with your patients as you guide them on their health journey. This practice has tremendous experience with training new graduate PAs and NPs as well as candidates with other specialty experience. Responsibilities: Full-time permanent position - Gastroenterology Monday-Friday schedule 8 AM to 4 PM No weekends, no on-call duties, no hospital rounding 100% outpatient clinic role GI diagnostic strategies, colon cancer prevention, nonsurgical cancer intervention, nutrition consultations, remote monitoring, etc. Qualifications: Previous experience as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner in gastroenterology or other relevant fields Recent graduates with gastroenterology rotations and interest in GI Active Maryland Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License (or ability to obtain license) EMR proficient Ability to build rapport with new patients and established patients Ability to adapt to new environments Excellent written and verbal communication skills Benefits: Highly competitive base salary Generous bonus structure based on RVUs Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off $1000 CME allowance and 5 additional days off
