Urgent Care Physician Assistant - Nurse Practitioner

Position: Physician Assistant (PA) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Location: Austin and surrounding areas Pay: $70/hr - $80/hour mileage reimbursement (for float coverage) Schedule: 3–4 12-hour shifts/week, including 3 weekend shifts per month Credentialing Timeframe: 30–60 days Overview: We are seeking a confident, compassionate, and team-oriented PA or FNP to join our Urgent Care team, providing exceptional care to patients ages 2 and up. Candidates should be customer-service focused, committed to patient satisfaction, and comfortable working independently. Responsibilities: Perform laceration repair and suturing Order and interpret X-rays Conduct DOT physicals (must be DOT certified) Prescribe medications (DEA required) Manage patient visits from intake to discharge Maintain clear, thorough documentation Requirements: 1 year of experience as a PA or 2 years of experience as an FNP We will consider a new grad FNP who has an Emergency Room or ICU background Comfortable treating patients ages 2 and up DEA license DOT certification (or willingness to obtain) Excellent bedside manner and strong teamwork ethic 3 weekend shifts a month Additional Details: Self-scheduling available Patients can schedule appointments online Typical patient wait time: 5–45 minutes Shadow interviews included in the interview process Comprehensive benefits package included Martin Paeplow Phone: 470-771-0683 Email: martin@eliostalent.com
