Certified Medical Assistant

Title: Certified Medical Assistant Location: North Richland Hills, TX Job Type: 35 Weeks Contract Shifts: 8 hours/day, Monday–Friday, between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM Pride Health is hiring for a Certified Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in North Richland Hills, TX 76180. This is a 35 WEEKS opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Key Responsibilities: Comply with clinical, OSHA, and infection control standards Support provider with procedures, treatments, and medication administration Take and document vitals, medical histories, and patient complaints Update patient records in EMR, including Health Monitor and CINA sheets Handle specimen collection, phlebotomy, and control testing per CLSI standards Restock, disinfect, and maintain medical rooms and equipment Provide patient instructions, referrals, pre-admissions, and follow-up coordination Process messages, refill requests, and patient communication Work on clinical quality measures (GAP reports, recall lists) Adhere to HIPAA, confidentiality, and USMD policies Qualifications: High School Graduate or GED RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) or CMA (Certified Medical Assistant or willing to obtain within 180 days Active CPR / BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
