Certified Medical Assistant

Job Title: Medical Assistant Location: Dallas, TX Contract: 3 months assignment with possible extension Shift: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM (Monday to Friday) Hours Per week: 40 hours per week. PAY RATE: as per expectations and experience What are the top responsibilities for this position (Please be as detailed as possible as to what tasks will be conducted on a daily basis): Assist physician and nursing personnel with injections, EKGs, phlebotomy and other patients care procedures. Record and process patient care documentation quickly and accurately. Maintain established quality control standards. Organize, stock and clean exam and treatment rooms. Coordinate patient care as directed by physician, company standards and policies. Must have qualifications/experience: 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant or related experience in a medical setting. What skills/attributes are nice to have, and will set a candidate apart: ICD-10 and CPT coding experience Knowledge of medical terminology. Type of certification required: High school graduate or GED Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant Certification. Current CPR and or BLS certification.
