The position is a Tues-Sat day shift and we have interview times for this week Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist Location : Voorhees Township, NJ Why Open : Additional support needed, client seeing more and more advanced cases Duration : 6 month contract-to-hire Hourly Pay : $52-59/hr Schedule : Tues-Fri 11am-730pm, Sat 7am-4pm Must Haves 1yr experience as a NMT Graduate of an AMA approved program in Nuclear Medicine ARRT or NMTCB NJDEP Diagnostic Radiology or NJDEP Limited to Fusion Imaging CT Technology PET scans Job Description As a nuclear medicine technologist in an outpatient imaging clinic, your day begins with preparing and calibrating the necessary equipment and radiopharmaceuticals for the day's procedures. You greet patients warmly, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed about the process. After verifying patient information and medical history, you administer the radiopharmaceuticals and perform imaging scans, such as PET or SPECT, to capture detailed images of the body's internal structures. Throughout the day, you meticulously document each procedure, maintain equipment, and collaborate with radiologists to interpret the results. Patient care and safety are your top priorities, so you consistently follow protocols to minimize radiation exposure. By the end of the day, you review the day's work, prepare for the next, and ensure all records are accurately updated, leaving patients with a positive experience and valuable diagnostic information for their healthcare providers.
