Kore.ai - Prompt Engineer - Generative AI

Job Description : You will be analyzing business requirements, interacting with different business teams, and will be a part of the solution design process. You will be working on RAG Pipeline and LLM Integration etc. Will be a part of the core development team and will be responsible for developing server APIs/components. You will be a part of scaling applications and database infrastructure processes. Responsibilities : - Design and develop backend services supporting RAG pipelines with LLM integrations. - Optimize the performance of retrieval and enrichment pipelines using Elasticsearch and MongoDB. - Implement scheduled jobs, event queues, and conditional branching in processing pipelines. - Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to integrate inference services and improve runtime accuracy. Requirements : - Minimum 1 - 5 plus years of solid development experience, and should have worked on open source platforms. - Experience building scalable microservices using Node.js and NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred). - Working knowledge of Elasticsearch and building custom retrieval logic. - Familiarity with event-driven architecture (RabbitMQ, Kafka). - Basic understanding of integrating with LLM APIs or embedding-based search (preferred). - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. - Hands-on monitoring and debugging using tools like Grafana, PM2 or ELK stack. - Graduate in Engineering OR Master's in Computer Applications. Must have skills : - Should have hands-on or in-depth knowledge of GenAI LLM and Agentic AI Applications. - Exposure/Knowledge on Open AI, Claude, Llama, and DeepSeek Models. - Prompt Engineering : Hands-on fine-tuning the prompts, context sharing, Guardrails, and PII Masking (Must Have). Other skills : - Experience with the git version control system. - Experience in open source contribution. (ref:hirist.tech)
