Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/09/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Operating Room (OR) Location: The George Washington University Hospital, 900 23rd Street NW, Washington, DC 20037 Shift: Day shift 4*10 7am to 5pm Requirements: Current RN license in state/district (required) BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required) 3 years of OR experience (required) Graduate of accredited/NLN-approved RN program (required) BSN (highly desired) Must live 100 miles away Responsibilities: Perform scrubbing/circulating duties for operative procedures. Prepare OR for surgeries, ensuring equipment functionality and supply availability. Adhere to aseptic techniques and intraoperative patient care standards. Serve as a communication liaison between patients, families, and the surgical team.
