Quantity Surveyor

Our client is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work on an ongoing contract. The work will primarily be on extensions within domestic properties.Temporary and part time. Job Description: * Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labour costs. * Preparing, negotiating, and analysing costs for tenders and contracts. * Coordinating work effort. * Advising on legal and contractual issues. * Valuing completed work and arranging for payments. * Examining and reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements. * Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders. * Gathering and preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, and risk assessments. Personal Specification: * Chartered Surveyor Degree Apprenticeship or equivalent * Must hold Full UK Driving Licence and own transport * Previous experience working in domestic properties * Negotiable rate for either hourly rate or per price work
