We are recruiting for an Established Toolmakers, renowned for delivering dynamic toolingacross the UK and internationally .We are looking for a skilled Toolmaker / CNC Miller Machinist - Programmer to join our growing team and manufacture bespoke components that make a real impact. Who Are We Looking For? An innovator with a passion for engineering and problem-solving. You are a skilled machinist with over 4 years of experience working as a Toolmaker / CNC Miller Machinist - Programmer . You possess a solid foundation in CNC machining with 3D experience, along with strong engineering know-how. You thrive on precision, are detail-oriented, and enjoy working both autonomously and collaboratively. You are comfortable with managing your own workload and consistently meeting high-quality standards. Key Requirements : Experience : 4 years in a CNC Machinist Programmer / Toolmaker role. Qualifications : Time-served Tool Maker qualifications or successful completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship. CNC Programming : 4 years experience (preferred). 3D CAD Cam : 1 years experience (preferred). Skills : Strong understanding of CNC machining centers, mechanical drawings, and bespoke component manufacturing. Knowledge : ISO9001 quality standards and ability to work with tight tolerances. Knowledge : Hurco programming Winmax desirable but not essential. Mindset : A curious, problem-solving mindset with excellent attention to detail. Communication : Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally across teams. Role & Responsibilities : You will play a hands-on role within our Manufacturing/Toolroom department. The role involves : Setting, programming, and operating CNC milling machines. Working with a variety of materials and producing precision partsdaily. Ensuring machine utilisation is maximised and downtime minimised. Inspecting your own work to ensure it meets ISO9001 standards. Working with engineering drawings and tight tolerances.
