This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of mental health, particularly within an educational setting.The ideal candidate will have a background in Psychology or previous experience as a mental health assistant or supporting students with special educational needs. You will be working closely with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, providing tailored support to help them access learning and build their confidence. Key Responsibilities: Supporting students with their emotional and behavioural needs. Helping students engage with their learning in and outside the classroom. Providing 1:1 or small group interventions. Working alongside teaching staff and the SEN department to monitor progress. Promoting a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all pupils.
