Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician

Our client, a reputable motor dealership based in Johannesburg North, is seeking to appoint a qualified Motor Vehicle Technician . The ideal candidate must have proven experience in the automotive industry, strong diagnostic and repair skills, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship. Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician (completed trade test – essential) Minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a technician at a motor dealership Valid driver’s licence – essential Clean criminal record – background checks will be conducted Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge Ability to work in a team and under pressure Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Key Responsibilities: Perform maintenance and repair work on vehicles according to dealership and manufacturer standards Conduct diagnostic assessments and identify issues accurately Ensure all work is documented, completed in a timely manner, and meets quality standards Work closely with service advisors and workshop staff to ensure customer satisfaction Adhere to health and safety regulations and dealership protocols Stay updated on latest technology and technical knowledge in the motor industry
