Accounts Payable

Position: Accounts Payable Assistant Location: Glasgow (Hybrid) Salary: £24,000 – £26,000 (depending on experience) Are you starting your career in finance and looking to join a fast-moving and supportive environment where you can grow and develop? We’re looking for a Junior Accounts Payable to join a friendly and collaborative finance team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a foundation in finance or accounting, looking to take on more responsibility—particularly within accounts payable—and gain hands-on experience across various aspects of the finance function. What You'll Be Doing: Supporting the processing of supplier invoices accurately and promptly Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes Assisting with weekly and monthly payment runs Helping reconcile supplier statements and resolving invoice queries Maintaining and updating supplier information Assisting the wider finance team with month-end processes and reporting Responding to internal and external finance-related queries What We're Looking For: Some previous experience in a finance or accounts assistant role (placement or internship experience welcome) Good understanding of basic accounting principles Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges Excellent communication and organisation skills A team player with a proactive attitude This is a great opportunity to kick-start your career in a growing company that values development and progression.
