Here at Sodexo Health and Care we are currently recruiting for a Facilities Systems CAFM Assistant to join our Hard FM team at Queens Hospital Romford . This is a pivotal role in supporting the planning and execution of both planned and reactive maintenance using our Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system – Maximo. As part of the on-site Estates team, you’ll be working closely with the ASOMP Manager to ensure that maintenance activities are well-scheduled, tracked, and compliant with regulatory requirements and service level agreements. Experience in a Facilities Management setting is preferred, along with a strong working knowledge of CAFM systems (preferably Maximo). Your role will include confidently managing maintenance scheduling, reporting, and system monitoring to help ensure compliance and service excellence across the estate. What You'll Do: Provide daily support to the Hard FM team through effective use of the Maximo CAFM system. Assist in the scheduling and coordination of PPM (Planned Preventive Maintenance) and reactive maintenance tasks. Monitor task progress and support compliance with SLAs and KPIs. Generate regular reports such as Denied Access Reports, Reactive Extension Requests, and PPM dashboards. Maintain accurate records, including task notes, attachments, and lifecycle documentation. Participate in Superuser training and support data integrity and system optimisation. Ensure proper closure of tasks – from completion to financial reconciliation. What You Bring: Essential Solid understanding of CAFM systems (preferably Maximo). Experience in PPM planning and reactive maintenance coordination. Excellent organisational and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and compliance. Effective communicator, both written and verbal. Comfortable working in a dynamic, healthcare-led environment. A proactive, flexible approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
