Job Purpose / Overview We are seeking a senior leader to join our clients Site Delivery Programme team, responsible for the full end-to-end delivery (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning – EPCC) of key Systems, Structures and Components (SSCs). This includes managing delivery safely, on time, to quality and within cost. Reporting to the Area Delivery Lead, you’ll provide strategic and operational leadership across a large scope of works including Earthworks, Enabling Works (e.g. UXO clearance, ecology, archaeology), Civil Engineering, Networks, and Buildings. You will lead a multi-disciplinary group of over 10 professionals across engineering, commercial, construction, and project management, coordinating with wider delivery teams including quality and supply chain functions. Key Responsibilities Sub-Programme Area Delivery: Assist the Area Delivery Lead in managing scope, cost, schedule, and quality performance for a defined site delivery area. Programme Assurance: Monitor overall programme progress, identify risks and delays, and recommend improvements to maintain delivery targets. HSEQ Compliance: Support adherence to industry best practices and project-specific health, safety, environment, and quality standards. Principal Accountabilities: Define work scope and manage interfaces across contract packages. Support resource planning and maintain SQEP (Suitably Qualified and Experienced Personnel). Drive execution of the Programme Execution Plan (PEP). Maintain effective stakeholder communications. Track project progress, costs, and milestones; report performance to leadership. Identify risks, manage issues, and contribute to mitigation strategies. Ensure deliverables are completed per the List of Deliverables (LOD). Promote continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Manage effective collaboration across related programme teams. Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations. Build and maintain strong team and stakeholder relationships. Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Proven track record delivering complex, large-scale projects within highly regulated sectors (nuclear energy or similar). Multi-discipline EPCM projects Procurement and contract execution Risk, cost, schedule, and change control using Earned Value tools Strong stakeholder engagement skills. Demonstrated project and financial management abilities. Skilled in scheduling, estimating, risk analysis, and change control. Experience managing NEC contracts and coordinating with contractors, consultants, and advisors. Excellent presentation, influencing, and communication skills. Chartered status with a degree in engineering, construction, or related field. In-depth understanding of CDM Regulations. Experience managing full project lifecycle from concept to handover. Familiarity with nuclear quality standards and application of a graded approach to quality assurance.
