TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Lexington, Kentucky, 40536! Pay Information $2,052 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty required. License: Compact or state license required at time of submission. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH. PALS must be obtained prior to start. Must-Have: IR PACU experience with phase 1 recovery and ICU experience. Description: This is an IR PACU position. Start times will rotate among 6 AM, 7 AM, and 8 AM. Call is not required yet, but it will be required in the near future. Shift variations will depend on the needs of the unit. Three 12-hour shifts will be scheduled each week. Response time for call is 1 hour. Weekday call will be from 8 PM to 6 AM. Weekends will be divided into two shifts from 6 AM to 6 PM or 6 PM to 6 AM. The weekend call begins Saturday at 6 AM and ends Monday morning at 6 AM. Floating requirements will apply as the PACU closes at 8 PM. Any patients left recovering will be transferred to the main PACU for completion of recovery. The IR PACU team will be responsible for recovering IR PACU patients in the main PACU. Call frequency is anticipated to be 2-3 shifts per schedule period, which is 6 weeks. Modules will be billable and completed during orientation and annually, varying by specialty.
