Pay Information $2,434 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Night Shift Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 2 years of ICU experience required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the relevant state or district - Required Certifications: NIHSS, BLS & ACLS - Required Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program Job Description: - Responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a multidisciplinary ICU setting. - Participate in the expedited onboarding process if able to start within 2-3 weeks of an offer. - Maintain competency in utilizing various types of technology essential for the treatment of critical care patients. - Perform a variety of patient care functions and tasks according to licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. - Demonstrate proficiency in operating equipment such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, and intravenous infusion pumps. - Provide care for neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients. - Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure holistic care. - Emphasize continuing development and readiness for complex situations characteristic of critical care environments.
