TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Chandler, Arizona, 85224! Pay Information $2,168 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry Float Pool Job Specialty: Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights, including 4 weekend shifts per schedule Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Ability to interpret EKGs and titrate cardiac drips Job Description: - Float between all Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units. - Potential to float to ICU, Cardiac Telemetry, and various holding areas, depending on skill level. - Responsible for patients with common diagnoses such as post-cath lab, post-vascular procedures, day 2 CABG, neuro post-surgical, CVAs post TPA, and general telemetry. - Expected to float between facilities within close proximity, with proper clock-out/in procedure if moving campuses mid-shift. - Required to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to contract signing, with a maximum of two attempts. - Participate in a pass/fail Sim Lab on the first day of orientation. - Must work every other weekend, with a scrub color of navy. - Work with centralized telemetry monitoring and collaborate with a clinical supervisor and hospitalist as needed. - Understand and manage patient ratios typically set at 1:3-4. - Be familiar with common medications including Amiodarone, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, and Dobutamine, with specific titration guidelines. - Provide nursing care for units including Telemetry and Medical-Surgical, with orientation specific to each floor. - Operate in a system that typically does not include pediatric patients under the age of 15.
