Job Opportunity: Procurement Specialist Intern Location: Vercelli, Italy Company: Multinational Company in the Chemical-Pharmaceutical Sector We are seeking a Procurement Specialist Intern for a multinational company operating in the chemical/pharmaceutical sector. Job Responsibilities: Align production planning and raw material procurement to meet manufacturing needs. Manage inventory levels of raw materials and semi-finished goods, monitor supplies, and internal demand/release processes. Create purchase requests for inventory items and generate purchase orders for both direct and indirect expenses. Manage relationships with suppliers to prevent potential issues or shortages. Handle supplier complaints related to quality, delivery delays, and coordinate with relevant departments on delivery and accounting issues. Negotiate prices for purchased products and services, finalizing commercial agreements with suppliers. Contract Details: 6-month full-time internship with the possibility of direct employment afterward. Work Location: Saluggia (VC) Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate is a recent graduate in Economics or Management Engineering, with an interest in Purchasing and Planning activities within manufacturing companies. Must have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, a good command of English (written and spoken), and possess decision-making skills, ability to manage emergencies and priorities, negotiation skills, and effective communication abilities.
