Ring is looking for a Software Development Engineer to join the team, to support the computer vision machine learning infrastructure that provides smart and rich notifications to Ring customers worldwide. You will be part of a global organisation, and a team that makes decisions on how technical solutions are delivered, working in a cross-functional way with internal teams to drive key aspects of product definition, execution, testing and operation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make an impact on our customer experience across the world. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Experience (non-internship) in professional software development - Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems - Experience programming with at least one software programming language PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent - Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations - Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers - Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
