Competencies: You can apply configuration management aligned with contractual requirements and stakeholder needs. You have strong knowledge of systems integration principles (system, hardware, and software). You are proficient with tools related to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). You can adapt to various development models and apply Agile and Lean principles. You can manage complexity and thrive in changing environments. You can create buy-in by explaining and detailing your needs and initiatives. Nice to Have: Specific domain knowledge as defined by the Configuration Management Head of Discipline or Talent Acquisition. Life as a Hardware Configuration Management Role at Thales: Coordinate all configuration management activities within projects, collaborating with stakeholders like Hardware Managers and Solution CM. Establish and implement the Configuration Management Plan. Specify requirements to subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring proper implementation and compliance. Participate in selecting configuration items and establishing breakdown structures. Manage identification activities, including CI selection and baseline needs. Handle corrections and evolutions, lead commissions (TEB/CCB). Establish configuration baselines and ensure status recording and restitution. Perform configuration verifications and participate in review phases. Share best practices and raise awareness about configuration management.
