Our Medical Telemetry unit also offers: Resident Physician designated Teaching Unit ED door to door admissions Highly engaged team Supportive management team Robust Unit Based Council Flexible scheduling Emphasis on work/life balanceWe have a varied medical/telemetry population including: Sepsis Chest Pain Patients requiring isolation or admission to negative airflow rooms Patients requiring skin and wound care- DHFT, PEGs, Wound Vacs Diagnostic procedures including thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, central line placement, paracentesis, angio-cath, pacemaker insertions and chest tubes.
