Key Responsibilities: Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to reactive issues across the hospital site Provide expert support for breakdowns and technical faults Mentor and support on-site Technicians and Engineering Assistants Offer technical advice to local hospital management when required Promote a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards Maintain high levels of workmanship and contribute to a strong team culture Requirements: NVQ Level 3, ONC or City & Guilds Part 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Completed a time-served apprenticeship in a relevant discipline Valid CSCS or ECS card (depending on trade discipline) Willingness to act as Authorised Person (AP) and Responsible Person (RP) for Medgas Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and ACOPs, including L8 (Legionella) Confident in fault finding and interpreting technical drawings Excellent time management and organisational skills Whats on Offer: Competitive salary up to £34,500 per year 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (increasing with service) Private healthcare cover, including pre-existing conditions Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption pay Private pension scheme and life insurance Friends and family discounts on hospital services Access to wellbeing resources, reward schemes and staff benefits hub Comprehensive training and development opportunities ADZN1_UKTJ
