Psychology Graduate - SEND & SEMH Schools Location: Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Schools Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available Are you a Psychology graduate passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Tradewind Recruitment is working with a number of SEND and SEMH schools across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire that are looking for individuals with a background in Psychology to help their students thrive. These schools cater to children aged 3 to 19, with diverse needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, Global Delay, Learning Difficulties, and other medical needs. This is an exciting opportunity for a Psychology graduate to apply their academic knowledge and skills while gaining valuable experience in the field of education and psychology. What You'll Do: Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with a range of SEND, adapting to their individual needs. Collaborate closely with class teachers, teaching assistants, SENCOs, and other professionals to ensure effective, holistic support. Foster a supportive and safe classroom environment that encourages students to grow both academically and socially. Use your expertise in psychology to help students access the curriculum and develop key skills for their future. What We're Looking For: A degree in Psychology or a related field. Previous experience working with children is an advantage, but not essential. A passion for making a positive impact in the lives of children with additional needs.
