Job Title: Motor Vehicle Trainer Assessor (Trainee or Qualified) Location: Home/Field based - Candidates must be flexible with travel across Hampshire, West Sussex, Berkshire and surrounding areas Salary: £36,400 Type: Full Time, FTC (52 weeks) Essential Criteria (for all candidates): Must hold a minimum of 5 years' solid, occupational competency as Vehicle Mechanic. Must hold a recognised qualification in Vehicle Mechanics at Level 3 or above. Must hold own Maths and English qualifications at Grade C or above / Functional Skills equivalents. An understanding of Apprenticeship programmes is highly desirable. Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle. Must be flexible with travel. Duties: Assess and mentor learners working towards Motor Vehicle Apprenticeship Standards to Level 3. Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted. Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress. Support, advise and motivate learners. Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs. Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration. Personal Skills: Must be an excellent communicator who is learner and quality focused.
