Sales and Marketing Executive Sports Clothing Salary: (inc. bonus) £28-£45,000, depending on experience Hours: 40 per week Location: Shafton/Home – Hybrid Head Office is in Shafton Near Barnsley, South Yorkshire. However much of the work will be expected to be done away from the desk. The expectation is that a maximum of two days per week would be required at Head Office. Reports To: Head of Merchandising - Director of Finance THE ROLE: To be an integral part of an energetic team that provides the base for rapid growth in a world class sports brand that currently provides a number of sporting organisations in the UK with sports clothing. The Company now wishes to significantly grow the business in the across many sports within the UK Sportswear and accessories industry. Key Responsibilities: Develop the customer base and liaise with various clubs and bodies using existing contacts and new openings developed by the new innovative direction of the company. Involvement in developing marketing materials and products Develop Social Media outlets Liaise effectively with key members of delivery and dispatch staff Be proactive in the range and offer to all potential customers. Key Measures of Success: Match closely, increase planning forecast sales across various sports Develop an active customer record system Liaise effectively with staff from the workwear, embellishment and law divisions. THE PERSON: Qualifications: No formal Qualifications are required. Applications are invited from all interested candidates Essential: Computer and social media able Excellent communication skills written and oral Ability to communicate directly with customer senior staff. Willing to undertake responsibility for all tasks Positive and outgoing character. Ambitious to achieve positive results Willing to attend various sporting events nationwide Desirable: Real interest in sport . Experience of acquiring customer accounts and comfortable in liaising regularly with them building up a strong customer/supplier relationship Skills and Knowledge: Able to prepare full contract proposals to Clubs and Organizations Personal Qualities Loyalty to the Company and Brand Good sense of humor Ability to communicate effectively Desire to continually learn about the business BENEFITS Travel to Far East when required Car mileage
